Learn all about the Artist Maria Cox who is the illustrator for Ladiebirdy
I’m Maria, an illustrator and graphic designer based in West London. My work is original, amusing and filled with characters, patterns and bold colours. I have an appreciation for all things fun so in my spare time I love to keep creating new designs for greetings cards and illustration prints.
Since launching in 2013, Ladiebirdy has grown into a full time venture, with an ever growing product range.
If you want to meet me in person, I sell all my lovely artworks at London’s Spitalfields Market, and trade there 6 days a week. I love to meet my customers in person as it gives me great joy to see their responses to my artworks.
I also sell with the online shops Etsy and Amazon, and have products in The Royal Albert Hall gift shop, and Chez Marie in Belgium.
My Art makes a great gift for a new home, a new baby, or maybe just a gift for yourself. I strive to produce products which are unique and thoughtful, I hope you find something you love!
I am signed with Bright Childrens Illustration Agency and have worked with Usborne Books, Peekaboo Publishers, I am a Bookworm Publishers, I Seek Publishers and Hachette Publishers. I’ve also been featured in articles by Creative Review and The Covent Gardener Magazine.
